Christmas Eve and Morning 2009

I'm always a little sad after Christmas is over................All the time and planning that goes into Christmas it feels like it takes forever to get here, then it's over and done with in a day. I wish it could last a little longer. But it can't I know. Anyway for Christmas Eve my mom decided that we were going to do a progressive dinner, We first started out at my sister Jen's house for appetizers then came to our house for the salad, then out to my parents house for the main meal, My mom prepared a wonderful dinner, it was sooo good, I love ham and potatoes and gravy it's seriously my favorite. And homemade dinner rolls are to die for. We stuffed our bellies clear full. Thanks Mom for a wonderful dinner and all the effort that you put in to it. We love you!!! After dinner we just sat around a chatted and played games and let the kids play.

In the past years we have stayed out pretty late on Christmas Eve, but this year we were home around 10pm pretty early considering the years before. But it was good, we put the kids in their Christmas pj's and put them in bed in a decent hour still. Then it was time for us to get out the presents and wrap some up, we were up til about 2:00 AM then it was off to bed.

Our Sleeping Beauties.................

Then I woke up about 7:30 AM and made Christmas Breakfast we had blueberry pancakes and eggs. You have to start off your day with a full belly right?!!!

Then we opened our presents and saw what Santa brought. The kids were so excited. It was FUN!!!  They were very spoiled both by SANTA and by US! (haha) Thanks Aunt Heidi for the presents you sent the girls and my sewing machine,We love you and appreciate all you do for us !

Then it was off to G-pa Jeff and G-ma Susan's house.....Where we got to open more presents YAY!!! Were were spoiled!  My parents gave us a awesome supply of meat as a gift, it was the best!!! The girls got the movie Up from Aunt Jen and Uncle Nick, Kenny got some Tinkbell pj's and a new book If you give a pig a party, she loved it and Olivia got a Adorable little Fur-pet baby panda bear. She loved pushing it around in the stroller. Were were all there except my sister Heidi and her family, We missed them very much and hope they can sell their house so they can be here with us Next year!  Thanks Mom and Dad & Everyone for the wonderful gifts. We love you all !!!

Then we went to G-pa and G-ma Jepson's house for more presents and Christmas day dinner. I didn't get any pics because I'm a bonehead and forgot to grab my camera (oops!!!) With the help of my bro-in-law (Gunner),I surprised Devin w/ a ticket to the Boise State vs. Texas Fiesta Bowl Game in Arizona on January 4. He was a little stunned at first but was really excited later!!! Thanks G-Pa and G-Ma Jepson for the wonderful dinner and presents!! We love you guys. ;) And Thanks Gunner for your help I couldn't have done it without you, You Rock!

Then it was off to Karrie and Stan's house....for Yep, You guessed it, more presents............Again, we were very spoiled!! The girls got matching outfits (my fave, I love when they match). I got a cool picture frame magnet board I really liked it, It's already hanging up!! And Devin got a gift card to Jcpenny (he needs clothes badly) and some snacks to take to his game!!!Thank You Karrie and Stan.

Thanks to all of our families! We love you and are so fortunate to live so close where we can visit you all in one day and make the Holidays that much more special!!!!

After all the running around we were so exhausted that we headed home and curled up on the couch together to watch the movie "Up" that the girls got. Well it wasn't even 15 minutes into the movie we fell asleep. We slept for about 2 hours and finished the rest of the movie,It was a really cute show, We really liked it!
