Elf on The Shelf!

This is the cutest book! And the girls loved it! It really helps "us as parents" remember the magic in Christmas and really is  great family tradition. It starts off by this little package is left on your doorstep, the kids open it and then we read them the book.
There is a little Elf inside that you give a name, he watches the kids and makes sure that they are being good, and after the kids go to bed, he fly's back to the North Pole and Reports to Santa whether you've been good or bad. Than he is back first thing in the morning before the kids wake up and is in a new hiding place. It's so cute the girls get so excited in the morning to look for him, and laugh every time they find his hiding place.
Our Elf's name is "Dink". He has been watching the girls very closely, and so far it has worked like a charm, they have had their moments but we remind them that Dink is watching and is going to report to Santa their being Naughty. Instantly they change their attitude. And so far really have been pretty good.
Dink has hidden in the Christmas tree, on the Entertainment Center, In the Kitchen, On the Shelf above the fireplace, and is currently hanging off our FHE wall hanging. I wonder where he'll will Hide in the Morning??
