Finally I'm blogging about Makoy's Birth :)
I was induced January 4th, 2012 at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls.
Everything went wonderful, I had a amazing Doctor the best anesthesiologist, and a wonderful nursing staff. I couldn't have asked for a better Birth Experience!
Our Little Man was a little bit to cozy in my belly, we thought because of my other laborers being so short like (4 to 5 hours) we thought this time would be the same or less time. But we were wrong, Mr. Mak wasn't ready to come out that soon. They started the pitocin at 10 AM and after jumping from a 5 to a 7 in like an hour we thought wow this baby is coming fast, we'll have him by noon for sure. But we were wrong, Mr. Mak wasn't ready to come out that soon. I stayed at a 7 for quite awhile, so I tried to rest the best I could in between contractions, waking up here and there, than I was really starting to hurt and I had them come and give me an epidural. My anesthesiologist did such a great job :)! He talked to me the whole time and explained what he was doing, and had me lay on my side instead of hunching over my fat belly and holding onto someone. That made all the difference. I was so relaxed (except for my contractions of course) but he took seriously 7 mins and he was done. And I was feeling good after that. I got all tingly and numb and very very sleepy :)!! So I slept from 11 til about 2 or 3 and woke up long enough to throw up and went right back to sleep. Than Dr. Leavitt came to check on me at 5 and I was only at an 8, so he said to keep resting and he'd check back in an hour or sooner if we called him. Finally about 6 pm I told the nurses I was feeling a lot of pressure and feeling the need to push, so they checked me and I was at a 10 !!! They hurried and called Dr.Leavitt and told him he better get there Fast!! He was there in like 5 mins, and him and Devin suited up ready to catch baby!! Devin pretty much delivered our son, Dr.Leavitt just instructed him and told him what to do, Kind of Crazy but a neat experience for sure.
Finally at 7:04 PM Makoy Devin Thibeault was born!!
Sweet Boy was so mad ! He cried so loud, he weighed 7lbs.6oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.
I was so happy to hold my baby boy, I waited so long to meet him.
Daddy so proud of his Son
Our Sweet Boy after he had his first bath by Daddy and all bundled up for our first night together.
The next day my parents brought the girls to come to visit and meet their brother for the first time. They were a little nervous at first.
We had so many of our family and friends come visit us while we were in the hospital and at home, Thank You for all those who brought dinners, helped babysit, and for everything you did!! We love and appreciate you all so much :) !!
