Eastern Idaho State Fair 2010

I love this time of the year-despite all the weirdos that it brings to town, I still love it! I love the parade, the food, the booths, and all the barns but most of all I love to see my kiddos enjoy it, just as much as I did as a kid!

First we kicked off the fair with the Parade on Saturday. My mother in law lives right on Shilling so we always have an awesome seat! The kids were so fun to watch this year, they were excited about everything that came through. My personal favorite was the awesome oldies police car!

What a bunch of Goofballs!
Kennedy and Rylee "shaking it" as the dance team came by.

Monday Devin was off so we went in that day and walked around, went to petting zoo, and went through all the booths and animal barns. It was so fun to be able to go with my sister and her family this year! Later in the evening we met up with the rest of my family.

Than all the kids decided that they HAD TO, ride the mechanical bull. It was so funny to watch them all ride that. They all did pretty good. And to my surprise Kenny wanted to get on there too. I really was nervous for her, I thought that she would freak out and fall off. But she lasted the whole time and had lots of fun.

Than on Tuesday Devin took the day off so that we could take the girls for wristband day, the girls are older and could ride (not as many as I would've liked) but you get what you get right? They still had a BLAST! I think they went on the rides 50 TIMES! The weather was great and it was a great day! My sister Heidi and her kids came along with us too so that was so much more fun.

Than after riding almost all day the kids of course we so exhausted. So we took them  Great Grandma and Grandpa Jepsons, while we went back and rode all of our rides! It was so much fun-I felt like we were dating again. We laughed so hard and went on ALL the crazy rides that you would as a teen. My favorite was the FIREBALL! And the best part was, I didn't get sick ! I haven't been able to ride the rides for like 4 years! They have a thing against pregnant women riding them I guess! haha-kind of sad huh? Just kidding, It was so nice NOT to be pregnant and have kids old enough to ride most of the rides with us this year!  And of course it wouldn't be the fair without stuffing our faces full of greasy good food, like tigers ears, funnel cakes, terryaki rice bowls, turkey legs, those yummy fruity (non-alcoholic) drinks Cotton Candy, Carmel Apples.
I L.O.V.E THE FAIR !! And I'm so glad the girls enjoyed it as much as both Devin

and I did as kids & Still do !
