Olivia and Kennedy

So I have been playing around with a new photo program and absolutely LOVE IT! It's so fun and pretty easy to use. I hope to eventually get to the point that I might be able to take my photography to the next level and possibly make a small business out of it. I know that there are so many other talented photographers, especially in our little town. So I'm a little scared to put myself out there and possibly fail! I LOVE Photography! There are so many little details that I want to capture and share with others. What do you all think?? Do I have what it takes? Or should I just keep it to myself and have fun with it for my own personal use?!! All your suggestions or comments would be great.

Here are a few of the girls collages that I did recently.

All I can say is GOOD LUCK! It isn't an easy town to get started in....but if you really want it, put yourself out there and just go for it! My 1st suggestion would be to offer free sessions to 5 or 6 families that you know and would be willing to sit for you. That way you can try your hand it, see what their reactions are, and not feel pressured to be perfect right from the begining and get to try stuff that YOU want to do. It's a great learning experience for both the shoot and for the editing. And fall is the BEST time of year to do this! Gorgeous autumn light is the BEST! Anytime after 5pm. Watch your light....it is the most important thing to remember about photography! It's all about the light and how you position your subjects! You can do it and have fun with it.....I can't wait to see more of your work! :)
