Christmas Twenty Ten!

I love all the hussel and bussle of Christmas Time. I love the decorations and the smells (those delicious smelling almonds in the mall to be exact) that just make it more enjoyable. I love going shopping and trying to find the perfect thing to give someone, unless it's one of those difficult people to shop for, than it's kind of a pain! But Most of all I love the spirit that Christmas Brings. It's a time to reflect on your blessings and give to those less fortunate, to Love our Savior honor his birth and remember all he has done for us.

I love my Wonderful Husband that works so hard for us, and our sweet little girls that make our lives chaotic and wonderful, and for both of our families, I'm so grateful that I am able to share these precious Christmas Memories with.
Christmas this year was so fun for us! The girls are a little bit older and are able to understand it a little bit more which made it that much more fun!! This year we decided that we would shop for each other and that let the girls do a little shopping as well. Devin took the girls shopping to buy for me and than I took the girls to shop for Devin and then we had them buy a little present for each other. They loved it! They were so excited that they were able to pick out a special present and then bring it home and wrap it up! They absolutely LOVED wrapping the presents. At first I was hesitant to let them do it because I was afraid they would spill the beans and tell what it was. But to my surprise neither one said a word. They knew it was a secret and that we would have to wait until Christmas Morning to open them. I was very proud of my little monkeys. They did so good.  We had our Awesome Little Elf Dink from the North Pole stay with us and keep the girls on their best behavior (and let me just say, he worked miracles). Honestly if you have kids and you don't have Elf on the shelf, I recommend you buy it now for next Christmas (it's at Barnes and Nobles)!

On Christmas Eve it's tradition on my side to go to my parents house and eat Christmas Eve Dinner, and play games until it's time to go home for Santa to come! This year after dinner we played the White Elephant Game, it was great. Then the kiddos made reindeer food (made out of quick oats and glitter) to spread outside before they go to bed. The glitter is so Santa's reindeer know where to land and the quick oats is for them to have a snack! Such a cute idea huh?? My sister Heidi came up with it. And a tradition we have started ourselves is to open one present on Christmas Eve which is of course Christmas PJ's!

Then FINALLY the BEST MORNING EVER!!! CHRISTMAS MORNING!

(Olivia did have Christmas Jammies but had a little accident in her sleep so we had to settle for some other cute Pj's) Just in case you were wondering, probably not but oh well! haha

We had a Wonderful Christmas and were given so much. We love going from family to family to family, But there is No Place Like HOME! We were so exhausted from running around and getting up early, the girls were glad to put on their jammies and hop into bed, and honestly so were we!
The Girls Loved their New Pillow Pets from Santa! They begged him for these things whenever they sat on his lap. So of course Santa had to make sure they got them.

Hope You all Had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
