Happy New Year

Another year has come and gone I can't believe it! It's so weird to write out checks with 2011 on them. Anyway this New Year's Eve was pretty laid back, Devin had to work the day shift, so me and the girls just cleaned and did house stuff, than when he got home we headed out to my parents, We watched Despicable Me, (our new favorite movie) the girls laugh at everything, and can even quote a lot of the movie, they are so funny. Ate some snacks, chatted with everyone, played a few games, than we missed the ball dropping because the satellite was acting up! Darn, so we missed that, but that's okay, we still got in our New Years Kiss :)!

After all that the girls and Devin were extremely tired so we headed home. We had a Great 2010 and are looking forward to 2011, we are planning a trip to Europe in the Summer to visit my Grandparents, We are so excited to get to go! And we look forward to whatever else is in store for us this year. I love New Year's Resolutions, It seems like the perfect time to have a fresh start with whatever it is you want to accomplish, I have already made one change, I chopped my hair myself, some bangs, I haven't had bangs since I was little so I was so excited to see how they would look as an adult, and overall I love my new do. What do you think ??

Now on to Resolutions, Of course the #1 Resolution is always getting fit and healthy, So Yes It's a Goal for this year, Devin and I are going to do it together, and I couldn't be more thrilled, we can help motivate each other and stay away from junk food so that will make it a little bit easier.
Resolution #2- We are really trying to build up our savings account and that is a huge one for us to accomplish this year, I just hope there isn't some crisis that we have to spend all the money on.
Resolution#3- Spend more time together as a couple and as a family. Since Devin has started working nights and almost every weekend it seems like, and sleeping in between, we don't have a lot of time to spend together alone, or together as a family. In the beginning it wasn't so bad, but now it's started to wear on us all. So we really hope to make more of an effort to be able to spend that time together.

I'm sure there a ton more but that's about the only ones for right now, so here's to a New Year Everyone!!! Hope 2011 is a great year!
